Maintaining Good Oral Hygiene

Nothing really! With all the oral hygiene tools currently available, it should be fun!

Most people think of oral hygiene and moan, yes I know, brush my teeth and floss. But there are so many great ways of maintaining good oral hygiene!

Toothbrushes are not just the only way to brush.
Now they have all colors, shapes and designs to suit every personality. For children they have dedicated a wide range of products to make brushing a fun experience. Although fun to look at, remember each toothbrush is designed differently and it is important to ask your dentist for guidance if you have any form of gum disease or dental condition.

Toothpaste has come a long ways! Who ever thought that toothpaste could come in so many flavors and textures? One thing for sure, regardless of what flavor or style, there is no reason to not find one that suits your taste buds! Remember the point here is to not hate your daily routine. Hating it just makes it harder to maintain! So if you do not care for the flavor you currently use, try a few others.

Dental Floss is important to include as part of the daily oral hygiene routine to maintain. Ok, perhaps it is a little time consuming, but wait a minute... losing teeth sounds like a better option? Dental floss has come quite a ways both in design and in flavor. When you think about the alternative of having gum disease or ending up needing a root canal, then finding a few minutes a day to do this perhaps does not seem like such an effort!
